The early spoilers for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations chapter 80 have been leaked online, teasing Sarada unlocking her new powers.
Ahead of the release of chapter 80, it’s certainly been a rollercoaster ride for the Boruto franchise over the past few weeks.
Not only did Part One of the anime adaptation conclude with yet another timeskip tease, but the last manga chapter essentially reversed the course of the entire story so far; with Boruto and Kawaki now switching places in the minds of Team 10.
Now, all eyes are back on the original manga series, but what have the leaked spoilers revealed about Boruto chapter 80 and what date will it release around the world?

Boruto chapter 80 release date and time confirmed
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations chapter 80 is scheduled to premiere around the world on Thursday, April 20.
As confirmed by Manga Plus, the latest chapter of the iconic manga series will be made available to read online from the following international times:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Eastern Standard Time – 1 AM
A reminder that Boruto chapter 80 will be available to read for free for the next three chapter publications; an active subscription costs new users $2.99 a month.
Boruto chapter 80 early spoilers leak online
The early spoilers for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations chapter 80 have been shared online, the following plot points being reported by Abdul_Zol2 – the title of the new chapter in Japan is “If it’s my dad…!”:
Boruto is still on the run from Kawaki and the rest of Team 10; Shikamaru asks Eida if she can confirm whether it was indeed Boruto who had killed Naruto. Kawaki grabs Eida in a threatening manner and she confirms this – Shikamaru then makes a public announcement stating that Boruto has killed Naruto and is now on the run.
Upon hearing the announcement, Sarada breaks down into tears as Mitsuki immediately leaves to try and follow Boruto. Eida asks Kawaki whether this is all necessary, to which Kawaki replies that he needs to keep Naruto sealed away until he can kill Boruto; however, just as he says this, Daemon makes his entrance.
Sasuke finds Sarada in tears, who says that Mitsuri is about to kill Boruto – Sasuke notes that that is only the natural response, but Sumire then contacts Sarada…It appears that they haven’t been affected by Eida’s memory manipulation. Boruto then has to fight Team 10!
Sumire tells Sarada that this is Eida’s doing and explains about the memory manipulation; Sarada begins to cry again but Sumire says that it’s now up to them two alone to stop Boruto from being killed. Sarada desperately tries to reason with Sasuke but he is immune to any negotiations since he is still under the spell; he tells Sarada to go home and stay out of this. Sarada says that she will have to use her “first and last act of selfishness” and unlocks her Mangekyo Sharingan; screaming at Sasuke “Papa, please help Boruto!”
Sasuke instantly sweeps in and picks up Boruto; he tells him about how they first met, trained together, and defeated Momoshiki together – Eida starts to panic and chases after them. Sasuke then admits that whilst he doesn’t trust his own memories anymore, he does trust his daughter and would do anything to help Boruto if that is her true desire.
Momoshiki demand that Boruto give up now, but admits that he is impressed by his resolve just as Eida catches up to them and apologizes, but Boruto says that he has inherited the ‘will of the fire’ from his father, mother, and grandfather.
The chapter ends with Boruto planning to train harder in order to face Kawaki, whilst Code plans his own revenge. The side text includes, “I will put an end to this Brother Fight. As a shinobi who inherited the will of fire…the story enters a new chapter.
