Brennan Lydick Motorcycle Accident: 20-year-old Ann Arbor Man Identified as Victim of Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Brennan Lydick Motorcycle Accident: Police have identified the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash that closed an Ann Arbor road on Monday.
According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, Brennan Lydick, 20, of Ann Arbor, perished in a motorcycle and car collision on Jackson Road between Maple and Wagner roads at around 3 p.m. on July 31.
The region is close to an I-94 ramp and the line separating the city from Scio Township. According to authorities, Lydick, who was operating the motorcycle, was moving west on Jackson Road when he collided with a van that was turning left into the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
Police stated that Lydick was brought to the hospital where he was later confirmed dead and that the other driver had received only minor wounds.
Police say it’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The crash, which is still under investigation, closed Jackson Road between Maple and Wagner roads from around 3 to 7:30 p.m. Monday.
