Daljeet Kaur was a Punjabi actress who was born in 1953 in Siliguri, West Bengal. She was a resident of Etiana village of Ludhiana. She lived in Gurusar Sudhar for 12 years.
She played the lead role in Superhit Punjabi movies Putt Jattan De, Sarpanch and Patola, Mamla Ghalal Hia, and Ki Banu Duniya Da. She stopped to work in the movie industry after her husband’s death.
She did a diploma from National School of Film and Drama Pune. She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. Her first film was Daaz which was released in 1976.
She worked in more than 70 Punjabi films and more than 10 Hindi movies. She played the role of Gippy Grewal’s mother in the film Sing Vis Kaur.
