YouTuber Shane Dawson’s death has been widely reported on Twitter, but this information is untrue. In reality, the designer is commemorating his 34th birthday, which he announced on Instagram.

A little over seven hours before writing this essay, the birthday post was uploaded. Dawson was depicted grinning and with pink birthday decorations all around him.

The vlogger also shared several stories on his Instagram account. His voice can be heard in the background of his most recent Instagram story, which was posted not long after this piece was written.

The hoax spread quickly on Twitter when false reports that Dawson had fallen over the roof of his home caused concern among online users who began asking questions.

Fans of Shane Dawson were alarmed by a rumor that he had passed away, but the erroneous information has gone viral.
Although there was no hard evidence, internet users thought the YouTuber had died after falling off his roof. Two purportedly time-stamped movies showed somebody tripping or falling from a height.

In one footage, a hooded man could be seen plummeting from a building’s first floor while screams could be heard in the distance. A video of someone falling from a ladder was being presented concurrently with another video.

The occasion was used by trolls and Shane Dawson’s detractors to create memes about the author. They made comparisons between him and Lois Griffin’s “falling off the roof” incident from season four of Family Guy.

Some believed that spreading death rumors about the founder on his birthday was “evil”.

By not claiming Shane Dawson died, Twitter did not make him a hot topic on his birthday.

Shane Dawson death rumors circulated once in 2020.
This is not the first time a death hoax involving a YouTuber has gained popularity online. When the hashtag #RIPShane began to trend on Twitter in July 2020, a related myth quickly spread across the network.

An entity acting as TMZ posted the news. The account published a message in which it was claimed that the 32-year-old YouTuber had died.
