Now that the Hollywood SAG-AFTRA strike is over, "NCIS" will return on February 12 at 9 p.m. on CBS, with the Ducky episode airing one week later. Furthermore, "NCIS" Season 21 will be immediately followed by new episodes of "NCIS: Hawai'i" to give fans their fill of procedural-themed entertainment.
Sadly, the new season will say goodbye to Ducky, who's been a beloved character since the series started in 2004. The good news, however, is that other favorites might return to the team. Mark Harmon teased Leroy Gibbs' comeback in Season 21, revealing that the character isn't officially retired and anything is possible. Given that Gibbs and Ducky worked closely together throughout the years, it's possible that the former will return to pay his respects to his old friend.
Other details about "NCIS" Season 21 are being kept close to the vest. However, fans won't have to wait long to find out what's in store for the series moving forward.
