On Reddit, when u/WallabyDry1908 asked other users to vote for the worst Tanner sister, Michelle received a whopping 243 votes out of the total 332. D.J. came in second with 50 votes, followed by Stephanie at 39. Several agreed that Michelle is cute in the early seasons but becomes increasingly annoying as she ages. Some of their least favorite Michelle moments include when she covers Stephanie's bed in leaves, brings home a donkey, and acts extremely spoiled during the family trip to Disney World.
One user said, "She was cute in the earlier seasons but starting season 5, she was just a selfish brat and became absolutely insufferable in seasons 7-8 ... There were other moments like when she got her sisters in trouble for things she did (starting a pillow fight which led to a broken window, jumping into a raked pile of leaves, having a pool party in the kitchen), and she pinched Steph."
U/enewwave disliked the uptick in Michelle's screen time, something this user felt took away from the focus of the original plotline. They said, "What I love about the early seasons of the show is that it's really about Danny, Jesse, and Joey with their adventures revolving around taking care of the girls."
