Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating an incident after a body was found dead in Kathleen & Tim Harney Middle School in east Las Vegas.
According to multiple reports gathered, a body was found on in the northeast corner of a baseball field at 1600 S. Hollywood Boulevard.
The policemen are investigating this case and more information will be provided shortly.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the death appears suspicious and homicide detectives are on scene investigating the circumstances.
According to a statement from the Clark County School District, students from Kathleen and Tim Harney Middle School spent the day at Las Vegas High School. The district advised that there was no threat to the school or students.
An ongoing investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is occurring at the shared-use athletic fields near Kathleen and Tim Harney Middle School. The District and the CCSD Police Department are cooperating with the investigation, and there is no threat to the school or students.
It’s not immediately known if the deceased individual is related to the school in any way, or if the person has been identified. School officials have not yet coordinated the release of the relocated students.
