The Cuphead Show is set to become one of the most original shows on Netflix thus far, and its fan base is growing by the minute after its February 18, 2022 premiere.
We answer the burning question on everyone’s mind: Who sings The Cuphead Show theme song, and we also provide an episode guide to the first season.
Developed by Dave Wasson and based on Studio MDHR’s popular 2017 video game, Cuphead, the slapstick adventure follows brothers Cuphead and Mugman, who both encounter a handful of entertaining characters along the way.

Here’s who sings The Cuphead Show theme song
The Cuphead Show theme song is sung by Wild Records artist, Gizzelle Andrea Becerra.
The singer announced on Instagram how grateful she was to be asked to sing the theme song, accompanied by voice actors Tru Valentino and Frank Todaro, who both have a small part to sing during the intro as well.
The lyrics to the opening theme are as follows:
Come with me to the Inkwell Isles
It’s just off the coast, maybe twenty-nine miles
Where there’s good and there’s bad
And then there’s in between
With Cuphead and Mugman, you’ll see what I mean
Ice cream and rockets, trouble never ends!
Watch these ding-dongs as they make new friends (Zig-zag, zig-zag!)
They’ll need some help just to stay on track
Oh no, there’s that guy! You better watch your back
So, if you’rе lookin’ for fun (Yes, we’re lookin’ for fun!)
And a dash of heebiе-jeebies (We’ve got the heebie-jeebies)
Then pack your bags and let’s go!

Netflix viewers praise Cuphead adaptation
Video game enthusiasts are hard to please when it comes to adaptations, but one Cuphead fan and artist is encouraging other viewers to just have fun with the show.
So there are actually people out there upset that the Cuphead Show is a more comedy driven cartoon and doesn't dwell on some deep lore or connecting plot?
We just can't have fun, silly cartoons no more.

Another fan praised Netflix’s ability to adapt video games well, showing signs of “love” and “dedication” in the work.
The Cuphead Show adds onto Netflix’s streak of great video game adaptations.
There’s love & dedication to capturing a great 30’s inspired animation style and the world & characters are fleshed out to deliver on a fun, character-driven comedy with wondrous voice acting & music.

Additionally, a third Twitter user admitted that they were already a fan of the show, calling it their favorite cartoon of the decade so far.
I know we're literally only 12 episodes in so far but The Cuphead Show is probably my favorite cartoon of the entire decade so far.
Not only is it a HUGE love letter to fans of the game, it's also extremely charming & funny, & I adore the animation style. Congrats to the team!
