Tributes are flooding social media for Frankie Lons, the biological mother of American singer-songwriter Keyshia Cole, after she tragically passed away.
The 61-year-old died of a drug overdose on Sunday (July 18th) after a decades-long battle with addiction.
Keyshia’s brother Sam told TMZ that Frankie overdosed at her home in Oakland, California whilst partying and celebrating her birthday.

How many siblings does Keyshia Cole have?
To public knowledge, Keyshia has four siblings, two brothers and two sisters.
The American singer is the biological daughter of Frankie Lons and boxing trainer Virgil Hunter, but she was adopted at age two by family friends Leon and Yvonne Cole.
She then changed her surname to Cole, and has siblings from both her adopted and biological parents.

Her youngest sister is Elite Noel, who was born in July 1985 in California.
Like Keyshia, she is also in the music industry and has 85,000 followers on Instagram.
Elite was adopted at just 3 months old but did not find out that she was adopted until she was 11.
Keyshia’s older sister is Neffeteria Pugh, who has a huge 455,000 followers and is verified on Instagram.
She was born in December 1979 and is now an executive producer, author and actress, and has written two books about life with a celebrity sister.
Neffeteria starred in the reality TV show The Frankie and Neffe Show alongside Frankie lots.
She also has five children herself: Brianna, Ciara, JayLann, Nayla, and Star.

Sean Cole, better known as Nutt-So, is a rapper from East Oakland, California.
He started his rap career in the group Street Thugs with Pound and Mo-Savage.
At age 12, Keyshia was introduced into the music industry with Sean, where she met and recorded with MC Hammer.
On Instagram, he has over 43,000 followers.

Keyshia also has another brother called Sam, who is the one who first announced their mother’s death.
Not much is known about him, but he also appears to be in the music industry and is active on Instagram.
Following her death, he shared a video of himself with his mother Frankie and wrote a tribute to her.
