Ratings and Reviews
Works, more features would be excellent
It works quite well. I haven’t had any trouble getting it to work. The biggest complaint I have is it is missing certain keys from being configured to buttons, mostly symbols like .,’:; etc.
If you could save assignments in profiles and quickly load them, the app would be far more useful. Each time I want to play a different game with it I have to reconfigure.
Also being able to support sending the buttons as an xinput device rather than a keystroke would be a killer feature.
If those things were added, it’d easily be a 5 star app.
More effective than that kinoni game pad
At least it does works and stables connection than the kinoni app, but you can’t change the position of the button and also lacks some basic buttons of a xbox or ps4 controllers. Hope the dev still going to update the app
P/s: after using it for a while, there are some more bugs like the buttons are getting stuck often and the app loses connection with the computer also frequently. I noticed that when I lost connection and reconnected, there are 2 devices showed on the driver ( I think this is a bug that caused interference )
Functional, easy and totally free
It's hard to find apps like this these days. It does what you want, it's easy to set up and it's totally free, not even ad supported. It is a basic gamepad with a 4 way D-pad and ABXY buttons, perfect for playing basic games like emulators on a computer.
App Privacy
The developer, NEGU Soft . , has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.

What you need to know
- A new jailbreak has been teased.
- It’ll support all devices running iOS 13.5.
- Users should upgrade to iOS 13.5 and await an updated jailbreak tool.
Jailbreakers look set for a new dawn after the team behind the popular unc0ver jailbreak announced a new tool that will support all iPhone and iPads regardless of the version of iOS and iPadOS they are running.
A tweet by the unc0ver Team suggested that a new version 5.0 update is around the corner that makes use of a new 0day kernel vulnerability.
We are going to release #unc0ver 5.0.0 with support for every signed iOS version on every device using a 0day kernel vulnerability from @Pwn20wnd in sponsorship with very soon. Update your devices to 13.5 and follow our progress on
— unc0ver Team (@unc0verTeam) May 21, 2020
Jailbreaking allows users to run apps that have been installed via non-Apple sources. Sideloaded apps don’t come from the App Store and aren’t held to the same security and privacy standards, either. That does allow for some apps and system changes that wouldn’t normally be possible but it also strips away some of the protections Apple puts into place to keep users and their data safe.
What does all this mean for jailbreakers? They should now update to iOS 13.5 and wait for the newly updated jailbreak tool to be released, according to the team.
In terms of jailbreaking, this is a monumental development for the community. One of the most prominent alternatives to unv0cer, Checkra1n, can only be used on devices running Apple’s A11 Bionic chip, so the iPhone 8, X, or anything older. This new release from unc0ver will purportedly grant jailbreaking capabilities to any iOS device running the latest software. iOS 13.5 was only released to the public in the last 24 hours, so this really is something. It will enable users, if they wish, to jailbreak Apple’s most recent iOS devices including the iPhone 11, iPhone SE, and the 2020 iPad Pro.
Not only that, but it also looks like this time around, unc0ver has bagged itself a sponsorship from phonerebel.com, an iPhone accessory company that makes cases.
Whilst unc0ver notes on its website that jailbreaking is technically legal and that any jailbreak software can be uninstalled, it does come with some fairly hefty risks including voiding your iPhone’s warranty, data loss, and more.

What you need to know
- The Clipper Card has added support for Apple Pay.
- Riders in the San Francisco Bay Area can now use their iPhone and Apple Watch to pay for transit.
Apple Pay has officially added support for the Clipper Card, the popular transit card in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Apple announced support for the Clipper Card today, saying that you’ll now be able to use your iPhone or Apple Watch to pay for transit without having to use Face ID or Touch ID to authenticate your device (if you have Express mode turned on).
Getting around the Bay Area is easier and safer with your Clipper card on iPhone or Apple Watch. Just tap and ride, there’s no need to use Face ID, Touch ID1, or touch a vending machine or card reader.
Those with an existing physical Clipper Card will be able to add it to the wallet app and use it to pay for transit on buses, trains, and ferries. Apple has provided some information on which physical cards it will support in the Wallet app.
You can add Adult, Youth, Senior, and RTC Clipper cards. Translink cards and Clipper cards with some special fare products can’t be added to Apple Wallet3. Be sure to keep your plastic Clipper card for Bay Wheels bikeshare use and your RTC card for fare inspection.

Apple has provided instructions on how to add your existing physical Clipper Card to the Wallet app. You’ll even be able to reload funds to the card using Apple Pay in the app.
If you already have a physical Clipper card, you can easily transfer it to your iPhone or Apple Watch. 1. Open Apple Wallet. 2. Tap the plus icon, then “Clipper card.” 3. Tap “Transfer Existing Card” and follow onscreen instructions.
Interestingly, the Clipper Card can only be present on one device at a time, so you’ll need to choose to keep it on your iPhone or your Apple Watch instead of it being available on both like other debit and credit cards.

While we still don't condone using your iPad to record video at concerts, we do think the tablet is, in general, a great tool for shooting, editing, and sharing videos. The larger screens, the plethora of apps, and the built-in cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity make iPads ideal for seasoned videographers and newbies alike. But ultimately, tapping into the tablet's true video-shooting potential means using the right combination of tricks, apps, and hardware.
First, there are a couple of tools built into the iOS camera app you should know: auto exposure and auto focus. If you want to focus on something, just tap onscreen in the camera app, and it'll focus there. If you want to lock in that focus, tap and hold, and the AEAF lock notification will appear at the top of the screen. The latter is particularly useful if you're recording an interview, and you want your subject in focus for the entirety of a video. This can also add depth of field to a shot.
As for sharing video, you can always upload to YouTube or Vimeo, but if other iOS users are nearby, Airdrop is really convenient to use. If you've got a couple folks shooting video at the same event, you can even all Airdrop your videos to a single person, who can then compile your various shots into a single movie.
Now for some apps. If you constantly find yourself accidentally shooting in portrait mode (nooo!) use the Horizon app ($2) to automatically correct that. The app crops what the camera actually sees so that no matter which way you hold the tablet, it's shooting in landscape. It offers some filters if, say, you want to bump up the saturation, and has added image stabilization features, which are useful if you've got extra shaky hands.
Want to try your hand at video editing, but feel intimidated by more robust apps? Spark Camera ($2) is a great option. This app has a unique, intuitive, visual interface and records videos up to 45 seconds long. Like Vine or Instagram video, you tap and hold to record a clip. Each separate clip you record is represented by a different colored arc in a circular status bar. You can edit your videos by rearranging the order of clips, trimming their length, muting sound, inserting music, and of course, adding filters.
Filmic Pro ($5) is another app that helps give your videos a more professional look. It lets you split the exposure and focus point so you can track a subject as it moves across a wide field of view with your finger (rather than needing to move the entire iPad). It also gives you pro-level tools like audio meters, aspect ratio overlays, and 30 different options for recording frame rate.
For more in depth video editing, iMovie ($5) is a good option. You can create more advanced film elements, like split screens or picture-in-picture, to show multiple angles of the same shot (useful if you're doing an instructional, how-to-type video). Within those shots, you can zoom in to focus on a particular aspect of the video. You can also make a shot slow-mo or fast motion. iMovie comes with some fool-proof tools for making a well-rounded video, including eight movie themes and 14 movie trailer templates.
The quickest way to upgrade the quality of your videos is to use a good lens. So if you want to get a bit more serious about this craft, you can add hardware to your setup. Schneider Optics offers professional-grade lenses for your iDevice (namely, iPhones and the iPad mini). Lenses range from $40 for a macro lens model to $100 for a 2x telephoto lens.
A video rig like The Padcaster will give you a more stable way to shoot video. For $150 to $160 (depending on your iPad or tablet model), you get everything you need to easily affix lenses, lights, stands, or a tripod to your slate. And there are a variety of tripod mounts out there to choose from, including these options from iShot designed for the iPad Air.
And of course, if you do find yourself shooting video at a concert or large public gathering with your iPad, at least turn the brightness down low so the screen is less of a distraction to those behind you.
A full featured port scanner for your Iphone, IPod or soon to be
Ipad that will help you figure out what systems have what ports open on
a remote computer. Cost is 1.99 and it works quite well, but at times a
bit slow depending on the network you are working with. This is the
coolest tool out there right now to use an IPod/Ipad/Iphone for
security work.
iNet Pro Network Scanner
This one is more detailed in terms of providing the name, IP
address and number of services running on each computer that it
encounters. Works excellent on an Iphone/IPod meaning it will work
great on an Ipad as well.
iTap RDP Client for Windows by HLW
This application completely rocks and is very easy to use. It works
on all the Iphone/Ipod systems that I tested this on and allowed remote
access. Saving off the data from the security scanner you can use this
tool for checking Windows based systems that might be improperly
secured.
iTap VNC Client
Same as the iTap RDP Client – just works on VNC systems and is the
most expensive application of the lot. Works very well and if the VNC
server is not set up right can help you figure out how to connect to
systems that are improperly configured or are not using a good password
system.
WiFi Analyzer
A very simple WiFi analyzer to let you know what networks are
around you and which ones are secure and which ones are not. Very
similar to any other wireless network analyzer on the market, this one
works on your IPod/Iphone and should work great on an Ipad.
With these tools you can turn your Iphone/IPod and soon to be Ipad
into a relatively robust and portable security/hacker system that will
let you know a lot about the networks you are connecting too. These are
some very cool applications and for around 40 dollars in total these
can be yours and working very quickly on your IPod/Iphone.
We’ve entered a new era for Xbox gaming, as you can now stream Xbox One games on your phone, turning your mobile device into an impressive machine capable of playing AAA games. Getting your Xbox catalog up-and-running on your iPhone or Android does require a little more work than dedicated handheld gaming devices. Not too much work, though. Once you know what to do, playing Halo, Gears of War, Forza, and the rest of the best Xbox One and Series X/S games is surprisingly seamless. Here’s what you need to know to get started.
Getting started with Xbox Game Pass
In order to stream Xbox games, you will need a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you’re unfamiliar with the service, Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft’s take on a Netflix-like model for games. You pay one monthly price and gain access to hundreds of games at no additional cost. Game Pass is available for console (both Series X|S and Xbox One) and PC. By subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you get the full catalog of games across PC and console, including all of Microsoft’s first-party releases on launch day; a host of EA games like the Mass Effect trilogy, Dead Space, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order through EA Play; and the ability to stream many of these games to your phone through Xbox Cloud Gaming. In short, it’s a lot of game for your buck, and the ability to play via streaming is one of the best perks.
Plus, Game Pass subscribers who opt to purchase a game while it’s available on the service get a discount. However, there is no way to purchase streaming access to a game. If the game leaves Game Pass, you can no longer stream it on your phone.
It’s important to note that purchasing an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is the only way to gain access to Xbox Cloud Gaming. You cannot subscribe to Xbox Cloud Gaming separately.
Sign up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
New subscribers get their first month for $1
Setting up and using Xbox Cloud Gaming
On both Android and iOS devices, getting Xbox Cloud Gaming up and running is fairly straightforward. That said, it is significantly more straightforward on Android, where users can simply download the Xbox Game Streaming app from the Google Play Store, sign in, and start playing. Unfortunately, due to Apple policy, Microsoft is unable to provide an app on the App Store. Instead, iOS users need to go to this site and sign into their Xbox account. After signing in, you can pin the site to your home screen, but it will still look like a mobile web app each time you sign in to play games. Cloud saves are supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming, so you can pick up where you left off when switching to your Xbox or PC.
You can easily play Xbox games on your phone with a couple helpful accessories.
Xbox Cloud Gaming requirements
Most mobile devices are capable of streaming Xbox games. You simply need to be on a device that supports Android 6.0 or later or iOS 14.4 or later. You can check out a list of confirmed compatible Android and iOS devices on the Xbox Insiders subreddit. We’d recommend the iPhone 12 Pro Max and the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, because they both have large screens that are ideal for gaming.
What really matters here is your internet connection. Microsoft recommends using 5GHz Wi-Fi networks, as Xbox Cloud Gaming isn’t optimized for 2.4GHz networks just yet. On Android, you need a 7Mbps speed or better, whereas on iOS Microsoft recommends 10Mbps or better (20Mbps or better for iPad). You also need Bluetooth 4.0 or later on both Android and iOS devices.
Xbox Cloud Gaming is better with controllers
Many of the games included with Xbox Cloud Gaming support touch controls. Make sure to check the thumbnail for each game, as titles that support touch controls will be accompanied by an icon of a finger. But you will likely want a controller to play most games, either because they don’t support touch or are just too demanding to be played effectively without one. A standard Xbox wireless controller can be connected to your phone via Bluetooth (a gaming clip for your phone helps), but there are other dedicated options like the Backbone for iOS and the Razer Kishi for Android and iOS that turn your phone into a Switch-like device. For more great picks, check out our list of the best controllers for mobile gaming.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a working Super Nintendo in someone’s house nowadays, but back in my adolescence it was gaming heaven. But now there’s no reason to have an SNES console at home, because there are so many ways to play those retro games without one. All it takes is a good emulator.
A while ago we discussed SNESbox, a website with thousands of Super Nintendo games playable from within your web browser. Previously you could just go to the site, pick a game, and begin playing, but now you need to have each game ROM downloaded on your computer already.
Needless to say, this makes the process a little more complicated than click and play. However, there is an alternative that brings back the old-style play of SNESbox, and it’s called SNESFUN.com. You can play games in-browser without any downloads or game ROMs.
Selecting Your Game
You can select one of the many games featured on the home page, or use the search function to find what you’re looking for. Once you have chosen a game, simply click to play. You will be taken to the game’s menu page where instructions will be displayed.
Click on “Play The Game” and let the fun begin. Sometimes the controls take some getting used to, but that’s something I can deal with, and you can change the controls once inside the game.
Changing the Controls
Click on the game window until the options panel pops up. Then click on the keyboard icon.
Next, tap on the button you which to change and enter the keyboard key you want to use. Once done, hit “Save.”
Playing Your SNES Game
That’s that. Now you can enjoy your game like it was back in 1992, right from the comfort of your own computer—in any browser.
Now that you know how to play SNES games on your computer, starting playing on your mobile. iPhone users can use MeSNEmu, and Android users can use emulators like SNESDroid or SuperGNES.
Keep Your Connection Secure Without a Monthly Bill. Get a lifetime subscription to VPN Unlimited for all your devices with a one-time purchase from the new Gadget Hacks Shop, and watch Hulu or Netflix without regional restrictions, increase security when browsing on public networks, and more.
