It is with deep regret that we must inform you that Janet Lucille Combs, who was born in Erin, Tennessee, and resided in Saint Clairsville, Ohio, died away on December 30, 2023. She was 77 years old. Her parents, George William and Ada Lucille Suggs Griffin, Sr., as well as her sister, Mary Margaret Griffin-Turner, passed away before she was born. Those who are left behind include her husband, Donovan L. Combs, who resides in St. Clairsville; her daughters, Kimberly Jan Underwood, who resides in St. Clairsville, and Gretchen Lee Kessler, who resides in Wheeling; her siblings, George W. Griffin, Jr. (Betty) of Clarksville and Claire Elizabeth Coulter (Edward) of Kingsman, Arizona; her grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Peluchette, Morgan Paige McNeil, Jackson Donovan Kessler, Hastings Jefferson Kessler, and Griffin Henry Kessler; and her great-grandchildren, Audrey Grace McNeil, Chandler Lee Peluchette, and Collins Blair Peluchette.
