Experience
Katie has been working in the media industry since 2012, gaining experience in radio, TV news, web, and print. She started her career while earning her associate's degree, working as a radio board operator and freelance writer. She spent nearly five years producing morning news, where she started to focus on her passion for entertainment journalism by writing entertainment news and producing celebrity interviews. Katie joined Static Media as a freelancer in 2022 and is so excited to continue sharing her passion for pop culture with other fans.
Education
Katie has an associate's degree in Digital Filmmaking from Herkimer College, a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communication from SUNY Oswego, and a master's degree in Library and Information Science from St. John's University.
