Keith Muhakanizi was a Ugandan Economist, who was the Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Treasury, at the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development.

He rose from an Economist to his position as Permanent Secretary to the Treasury at the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development of the Republic of Uganda.
In the 1990s, he played a crucial role in the implementation and formulation of economic reforms that restored the macroeconomic stability of Uganda’s economy.
