A member of the Xenia Community Schools administration has confirmed that Kevin Jenkins Jr., who was 11 years old, has passed away.
As a result of the fire in Martinsville, Jenkins and his grandmother, who was 79 years old, both passed away. The fire is being researched through the lens of a space heater as a possible cause of the blaze.
