Laura Ramsey, a family law attorney of Ross Family Law, P.C. in San Francisco, California, sadly passed away. Those who knew her were grieved by her passing.

A Facebook post stating, “It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news that MCHS founding student, Laura Dole, has passed away very unexpectedly” served as confirmation of her death. The specifics regarding Laura Ramsey’s death’s cause have not been made public.

She attended California Polytechnic State University from 2000 to 2004 to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication. She then enrolled at Whittier Law School, where she graduated with honours in 2007 as a Juris Doctor.

During her initial professional experiences, she completed a 4-month Federal Judicial Internship at the US Federal Bankruptcy Court, which took place from May to August of 2005.

She then started her legal career for seven months as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Jeffrey Metzger, where she worked mostly on personal injury, bad faith insurance claims, employment law, and E.R.I.S.A.

After that, she moved to McArdle & Vosskuhler, P.C. as an Associate Attorney, where she worked for two years and eight months, from February 2008 to November 2010.

After that, she was promoted to Partner at the prestigious Walnut Creek, California legal firm Whiting, Fallon, Ross & Abel LLP. She was in this prestigious role for an incredible twelve years and eleven months, from November 2010 to September 2023.

After working there, she focused her legal knowledge on family law and worked as an attorney at Ross Family Law, P.C. in the East Bay of San Francisco. Her expertise received praiseworthy acknowledgment in the legal field.

Remarkably, from 2013 to 2017, she was named one of Northern California’s Top Women Attorneys. During the same year, Northern California Super Lawyers recognised her extraordinary legal expertise by awarding her the Rising Star distinction.
