According to reports, the police said that Bob Lee was not the victim of a sudden attack, but was killed after an altercation with a known acquaintance, which had turned violent. Lee was killed after an altercation between Lee and Momeni while riding together in Momeni’s car around the downtown San Francisco area in the early hours of April 4.
According to police, as they were still driving in the area, a scuffle broke out between them that spilled into the streets after Lee got out of the vehicle and walked away. Momeni stabbed Lee several times with a knife, which was recovered by police from the scene.
