Ladd was hurt when a cow ran over him and knocked him to the ground. He hurt his back and legs, but the injuries weren’t that bad.
In March 2022, Ladd and his nephew Caleb were hurt in a crash while fighting a wildfire on the ranch. His neck was broken, and he got hurt very badly, but he’s all better now.
