Sam also studied comedy in Los Angeles, producing an original web series and writing for the 2018 CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase. With his natural sense of curiosity and background in a diverse range of subjects, Sam hopes to connect with new readers and experts alike.

At the University of California, Santa Cruz, Sam graduated from the selective creative writing emphasis of its literature program.
