Siena Schoenrock Obituary: 17-year-old Provo High School student identified as pedestrian fatally struck in Orem on Monday.

On Monday night in Orem, a car struck and killed a 17-year-old girl now identified as Siena Schoenrock.

Siena was a student of Provo High School.

Siena was struck while walking at 400 South Vineyard Road. According to a statement from Orem police, the driver of the car that struck her stayed at the scene and is helping with the investigation. There were no other details available right away.

The incident marked the end of a troubling few days on Utah’s roads, during which a number of pedestrians and a driver were killed or seriously injured in separate accidents.

Siena was a bright and promising young individual who had her whole life ahead of her. Her loss has left a void that can never be filled.
