A video of a student throwing a shoe at a teacher and being escorted away by police has taken over the internet, but people think it’s fake.
The video emerged on social media last week and is shocking everyone, but could it be a skit? Watch the viral clip and see what you think…
Student throws shoe at teacher
In the clip which has been shared on TikTok and Twitter numerous times, a student throws her shoe at a whiteboard that her teacher is writing on.
“Are you serious? Who threw their shoe? Who threw their shoe at me?” the teacher says before opening the door and saying: “Call the police.”
She then goes to find the person who hurled it and comes across a girl who is only wearing one shoe and repeats: “That’s not mine.”
“Are you serious right now? You really took your shoe off and thought it was okay to throw your shoe at me?” the teacher continues.
The girl continues to deny it’s her shoe while the educator calls her “disrespectful” and asks her to leave the room immediately.
“I want you to clean up out my classroom,” she says. “I want you gone. Like seriously, I want you gone. Get up.”
The student refuses to move and repeatedly says “I’m not going anywhere” and “I’m not getting up” as the teacher asks her to leave again.
Pupil escorted out by police
After a lot of back and forth, the young girl continues to refuse to leave the classroom and gets out a book to read instead.
“You took a shoe and you took it upon yourself to toss it at me while I’m trying to teach my lesson,” the teacher continues, and the kid replies: “Did it hit you though?”
“It don’t matter if it hit me, you disrespecting me in my own classroom,” she adds as a police officer in uniform comes in the door.
He asks what the problem is and the teacher tells him to get her out of the class and removed from the school for disruption.
The officer then asks if she threw the shoe and proceeds to force her up out of her seat and take her out of the classroom.
