Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in November 2021, just before the release of "House of Gucci," Adam Driver dished on the wild sex scene between Patrizia and Maurizio. In particular, the scene is memorable because it is full of some rather animalistic noises. According to the actor, those noises (among other things) weren't even part of the script.

"We were feeling it, so to speak! Everything I say sounds like a double entendre, but, we winged it!" Driver told EW. "I will say also, at that point, we had been shooting for a month, so we felt very comfortable to go where we needed to go." The scene didn't even require much prep, no doubt a credit to Driver and Lady Gaga's status as Hollywood pros. "We blocked it out as we would any fight or any scene, then we just kind of ran it maybe once or twice, and that was it!" Driver revealed.

The actor is no stranger to jaw-dropping sex scenes, having made his break as the boyfriend of Lena Dunham's Hannah Horvath in HBO series "Girls," a series known for its graphic and realistic approach to depicting sexuality. Additionally, Gaga is known for being one of the most boundary-pushing artists of the 21st century, too, and has consistently shown she's comfortable doing nearly anything for the sake of good art.

Regardless of what critics and audiences thought of "House of Gucci," it can't be denied — Driver and Gaga deserve every bit of critical acclaim that comes their way, especially now that we know what they did to put such memorable performances onscreen.
