Tyrone McGee was apprehended in the deadly shooting of a Nashville man in the Timothy Hodge case
The shooting murder of Timothy Hodge, 33, on August 5 was claimed to have resulted in the arrest of Tyrone McGee by law enforcement, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Authorities claim that the incident took place outside of Knollcrest Apartments building K at approximately 6:17 p.m.
There weren’t any flats there that Hodge resided in.

According to an official, Hodge was shot inside a parked car and placed on the pavement as the driver drove away.
He was found in the parking area with gunshot wounds when the cops came. He immediately died from his injuries.
MNPD named Tyrone McGee, 31, as a suspect in the incident. On August 12, just after midnight, he turned himself in. He has since been charged with killing Hodge and is currently being held without bail.

Tonight at police headquarters, Tyrone McGee turned himself in and was charged with killing Timothy Hodge. Investigators are still searching for the 2007 BMW X3 that McGee was using the night of the murder.

Detectives are still looking for the 2007 BMW X3 that they believe McGee was driving the night of the incident.
A candlelight vigil was conducted by Timothy Hodge’s family in his honor.
On Monday night, family members gathered around Hodge’s place of death for a candlelight vigil to honor him.
In a statement to the media, Timothy’s mother said:
“My son didn’t deserve to pass away in this manner. That child was mine.”
His brother also spoke about his tragic passing and stated:
“Tim is pleased to see us all here together at this time. Anybody may get assistance from him. The best man I know was my brother.”
His father, Timothy Sikes, stated that Timothy Hodge was killed while assisting a buddy.
Timothy Hodge was planning his move from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to Nashville around the same time.
He was raised in Nashville, but after deciding to split up with his ex-wife, with whom he shares three children, he departed the city in 2016.
Just before he died, he applied for an apartment in Nashville for himself, his fiance, and their two daughters because the family was so important to him.
To be closer to their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, half-siblings, and cousins was something he hoped for them.
DanTay McCullough, Hodge’s wife, also paid tribute to him, telling the media how much he cherished the rain and how much his girls are currently weeping for him.
The murder’s motive has not yet been determined. Authorities are investigating from every angle.
Recently, there has been a sharp increase in crime in Nashville, and fresh incidents are reported every day. The city has been the subject of extensive media coverage.
