This brand new series looks terrific, but where was Wild Bill filmed?

Where was Wild Bill filmed? It’s a question many will inevitably be asking when they check out the exciting new trailer for ITV’s latest drama.

The channel has brought audiences so many engaging series over the years, and Wild Bill looks set to join them.

It centres upon US police chief Bill Hixon as he arrives in Lincolnshire with his teenage daughter. Although he is fleeing the trauma of his past, his new surroundings prove even more troublesome.

Who’s in it?

We have American performer Rob Lowe in the lead; recognise the name? You certainly should!

He’s starred in such films as Wayne’s World, Contact and St. Elmo’s Fire. However, he is perhaps best known for playing Sam Seaborn on acclaimed series The West Wing, and also for the role of Chris Traeger on Parks and Recreation.

That’s not all, of course. He’ll be starring alongside the likes of Bronwyn James (Apostasy), Anthony Flanagan (Life on Mars), Anjli Mohindra (Bodyguard) and more.

Where was Wild Bill filmed?

The series is set in Boston, Lincolnshire and was actually filmed on location during late Autumn and Winter in 2018, as reported by the Daily Express.

Much of the external shooting was done in the countryside there.

Lowe’s police chief certainly has some interesting things to say about that…

When is it on?

It’s comprised of six episodes, the first of which airs on Wednesday, June 12th 2019 on ITV.

Episode one will screen from 9pm – 10pm. Be sure to tune in!
