Gabrielle Carey (Born: 10 January 1959; Died: 4 May 2023) was an Australian writer. She was best known for the teen novel named Puberty Blues, which she co-wrote with Kathy Lette.
Puberty Blues novel was the 1st teenage novel, which was published in Australia that was written by teenagers.
Gabrielle became a Senior Lecturer in the Creative Writing Program at the UTS (University of Technology Sydney), studying Randolph Stowe and James Joyce.
