Mourning cancelled Netflix shows in 2020? Well, there may be more series pulled than you think. Let’s take a moment to highlight them.
Much of 2020 has been spent worrying but we’d wager many have spent just slightly less time tuning into Netflix.
This year has been a shocker for a wealth of reasons and entertainment has provided people with a way to lose themselves in escapism. In these unprecedented times, this cannot be taken for granted.
Immersing yourself in a great series or film can bring great comfort and the streaming service has rolled out so many notable efforts, from the lockdown hit Tiger King to the blockbuster thrills of The Old Guard.
However, it’s not all positive…
While there have been some impressive additions to the 2020 slate, plenty of shows have had the plug pulled, with Netflix deciding to cancel them.
On more than a few occasions this has been the direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

GLOW is the latest to shock
While it’s more common for shows to be axed after 1 season, a few of these are likely to shock fans.
Arguably the most surprising is GLOW, which was renewed for a fourth and final season in September 2019.
Now, admirers won’t have the conclusion they so craved after a crowd-pleasing third batch of episodes.
As highlighted by Deadline, the decision was made as a result of production complications brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Actress Alison Brie has since reacted to the news over on Instagram, expressing [see below]: “Going to miss this… Forever grateful to my GLOW family for changing my life forever.”
