Chika began her performing career by putting on shows for her family in the living room when she was quite young. However, it wasn’t until much later in life that she realized a career in acting was an option.

Chika began her academic career in 2015 by enrolling in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre Practice) program at the Victorian College of the Arts. However, she transitioned to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) program at NIDA in 2016, when she was offered admission to that program.
