Darnell Hines Obituary: In loving memory of Lancaster man killed in Wednesday crash.
Darnell Kina Hines, 45, of Lancaster, was the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiners’ Office.
The deadly collision occurred on Wednesday, October 18, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Avenue K and 15th Street East, according to PIO Detective Ament Ryan of the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
Hines was ejected from his motorbike after a woman driving an eastbound Mazda 3 sedan on Avenue K attempted a northbound right onto 15th Street East as he was heading west on Avenue K.
Hines was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The inquiry into the crash’s cause is still ongoing.
Whether speed or intoxicated driving contributed to the crash is still unknown.
Traffic investigators at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station are asking anyone with information about the collision to give them a call at 661-948-8466.
