We are saddened to inform you that David Andrew Dailer, who resided in Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away on December 30, 2023. He was 74 years old. Our hearts are heavy as we communicate this news. Both of his parents, Harry Dailer and Gertrude Dailer (Kimmins), as well as his former life partner, Patsy Dailer (Tarr), passed away before he was born. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Yaeger-Dailer (Harvey); his step-sons, Benjamin Yaeger (Jami) and Cory Yaeger (Melissa); his step-grandson Liam; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Tyler, Allie, Maggie and Sydney; and also, Tom Dailer (Peggy), Susanne Gedden, Dottie Hummel, Heather Newborn (Ron), Shannon Stalhut (Brad), T. Jay Dailer (Angel), Kerry Dailer (Kathy), David Dailer and Suzie Dailer.

A vigil service was performed at four o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, January 2nd, 2023. Altmeyer Funeral Home – Elm Grove Chapel, located at 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003, will be the location of the visitation that will take place on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. There will be a funeral ceremony on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Both services will take place on the same day.
