David Stocker: Who is he? Inside the personal life of the playboy
The pastor, who had been giving sermons at the Miami church since 2014, is accused of having extramarital relationships with three members of his congregation.
MIAMI, FLORIDA: David Stocker, a 46-year-old minister who had been delivering sermons at the Brave Church in Florida’s Westchester neighborhood since 2014, was let go in April. He was excommunicated after being found guilty of “gross sexual misconduct and immoral actions” by the Assemblies of God’s Peninsular Florida District Council “. Additionally, Stocker is charged with using the church’s credit card to pay for some of his sex acts.
The council sued Stocker when he refused to resign and persisted on preaching despite being fired for breaking the church’s bylaws, and the 307-page complaint it filed contains the horrific charges. The pastor was looked into after a furious parishioner, who was apparently his first girlfriend, complained about him to the council in an unfavorable email in January. She offered “hundreds” of images, videos, and texts showing the sexual interaction.
Legal documents filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, according to DailyMail, claim that the woman, whose identity is protected by the council, was devastated when she learned that Stocker had cheated on her with two other worshipers and was still involved with one of them. In the course of their “whirlwind romance,” according to the middle-aged mother and Stocker, they allegedly had sex on their first date and got their names and the day they met tattooed on their necks. She added that Stocker routinely behaved intoxicatedly, even in public. Together with his ex-wife Christina, Stocker joined Brave Church in 2014.
On April 15, Stocker received the news that he had been sacked by the council as a result of the investigation. He nevertheless kept on delivering sermons at the huge white-painted church. Five weeks after the council told him of its choice to file a lawsuit, he finally left. The council then filed a lawsuit against Brave Church and its directors Eliada Rivera, Yarilend Taboada, Josephine Lejuez, and Nivia Pena, saying that they covered up Stocker’s “misconduct” and permitted him to retain his job.
Additionally, it asked that the group reclaim control of the church structure. Although the contents of the agreement between the church and the directors have not been made public, the council, also known as PenFlorida, has now done so. Given that the case against Stocker is still pending in court, it is unclear where this leaves him. According to Miami-Dade property appraiser records, the house in Miami where Stocker resides is held by Brave Church of Miami Inc., which points to a continuous relationship between Stocker and the organization despite the current legal action, as reported by DailyMail.
Stocker and “mistress” number one linked on Instagram in April 2019, claims the 307-page lawsuit submitted on May 24. The grievance stated, “Woman #1 admitted that she and Stocker went on their first date on April 7, 2019, and then had sex afterward in a written statement she gave PenFlorida on January 17, 2022. Additionally, Woman #1 disclosed that Stocker had sexual relationships with at least two other members of the congregation and claimed that he had at least twice misappropriated church monies for his own benefit. According to the lawsuit, the lady gave “hundreds of text messages, pictures, and videos showing the affair and Stocker’s misdeeds.”
About four months into their relationship, Woman #1 realized Stocker was showing a lot of interest in another member of the congregation (Woman #2), according to the documentation. Stocker was still legally married to his former wife, but he had been having a romantic relationship with Woman #2 for the whole period he had been dating her.”
Meanwhile, sometime in July 2020, Woman #1 revealed that Stocker had been having an extramarital affair with a third woman (Woman #3). After realizing this, Woman #1 broke up with Stocker, but they eventually got back together and dated intermittently for a further year “It was terrible.
David Marotta, Woman #1’s ex-husband, charged Stocker with stalking her in December 2021. Marotta requested a protection order against Stocker through the Miami-Dade Circuit Court’s domestic violence division. When Stocker arrived at his RV, the petition alleged that he had “threatened damage to the petitioner” and that “On December 15, 2021, the respondent showed up at the petitioner’s home bagging (banging) on the windows.” The petitioner dialed 911, and when the responding officer was speaking to the petitioner’s ex-wife, the petitioner was approached by the respondent, who warned him: “You don’t know who you’re scr**ing with; it’ll wreck your life.” I am close with many influential people. A judge ultimately threw out the case for a lack of evidence.
