Dharmesh Patel Wife:- Dharmesh Patel, 41, of Pasadena, was charged on Monday with three charges of first-degree attempted murder after reportedly driving his Tesla off Devil’s Slide on California Highway 1 with his wife, their two children, a boy, 4, and a girl, 7.
According to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe, the 4-year-old son of a California doctor suspected of pushing his family off a cliff on Jan. 2 not only survived the 250-foot fall but also escaped without any injuries.

Neha Patel, Patel’s wife, who is the lone victim still in the hospital healing, might be willing to provide additional information to investigators about what transpired on that day and in the days prior to Patel’s alleged murder-suicide attempt.
The wife of a California physician allegedly informed rescuers that her husband deliberately drove their Tesla down a notorious cliff in the state with them inside with the purpose to murder them. According to Wagstaffe, Neha Patel reportedly informed emergency personnel, “He intended to murder us,” and “He purposefully drove off the side.”

In addition to that initial statement to the paramedics, Wagstaffe claimed that eyewitnesses and video from the Tom Lantos Tunnel, which Patel had just driven through before the collision, appeared to show Patel’s Tesla driving straight off the cliff without braking or making an effort to get to safety.
Without going into great detail, Wagstaffe summarised what witnesses saw as follows: “There was no swaying back and forth, there looked to be nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle, there were no tail lights activated, there were no braking… or sliding.” Patel, who is being held without bail right now, will make a plea decision on February 9.
