Good Afternoon,
Can I ask for some thoughts please ......
My Dad has got fluid retention in his legs and feet and is taking Fursimide tablets . Speaking with the Nurse Practitioner she explained one of his other medications is probably contributing.
Dads always worn Gentle Grip Diabetic socks and slippers with Velcro.

When at home Dads Carers were massaging his legs/feet daily and elevating them which seemed to improve it.
At the Care Home he is no longer wearing socks ....just slippers.
Does anyone know if this is usual ?
I am happy to buy different socks and am going to speak with the Care Home as last week I was asked to buy bigger slippers.
I am also going to contact the Nurse Practitioner for her thoughts but before doing so would appreciate anyone elses experience.
Thanks
