Gandeng HSBC, MAMI Luncurkan Reksa Dana Bertema ESG

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Manulife Aset Management Indonesia atau MAMI bersama HSBC meluncurkan Reksa Dana Manulife Saham Syariah ESG Transisi Global Dolar AS (MAGET) Kelas A2, di Jakarta, Selasa (16/1/2024). Reksa dana ini dapat dibeli pada 18 Januari 2024.
CEO dan President Director MAMI Afifa mengatakan, produk reksa dana ini diluncurkan berfokus pada kegiatan usaha dalam rangka menuju Ekonomi Rendah Karbon dan Transisi Berkelanjutan.
“Reksa dana ini memiliki tema utama transisi energi global, menuju era dekarbonisasi, tujuannya adalah untuk memitigasi perubahan iklim dan pemanasan global di bumi,” kata Afifa.
Afifa menambahkan, reksa ini cukup beragam dimana saham - saham yang ada di dalam reksa dana MAGET ini berfokus pada saham-saham energi yang rendah karbon, materi pendukung transisi, ketersediaan sumber daya, efisiensi serta elektrifikasi.
“Ini menajdi fokus pada reksa dana MAGET. Tidak hanya mendapatkan keuntungan, dan melakuan diversifikasi reksa dana MAGET ini juga berperan langsung menjaga bumi, lebih baik dan sehat,” jelas Afifa.
Afifa menjelaskan, dalam mendistribusikan reksa dana MAGET pihaknya juga dibantu oleh tim jaringan global. Saat ini, MAMI memiliki 13 reksa dana di HSBC, di antaranya 6 reksa dana saham, 5 reksa dana pendapatan tetap, 1 reksa dana campuran dan 1 reksa dana pasar uang.
Afifa memastikan bahwa reksa dana MAGET ini dapat dijadikan sarana diversifikasi investasi yang bermanfaat bagi nasabah Indonesia. Selain itu, reksa dana MAGET ini kedepannya diharapkan mampu berperan menjaga bumi lebi baik kedepannya.
Adapun total dana kelolaan MAMI hingga September 2023 mencapai Rp 102,4 triliun.
President Director, HSBC Indonesia Francois de Maricourt mengungkapkan, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara terbaik dalam investasi.
Hal ini seiring dengan ekonomi yang terus mengalami pertumbuhan ditopang oleh konsumsi masyarakat. Di sisi lain, Indonesia juga saat ini tengah fokus untuk mendorong penerapan ESG di berbagai sektor.
“HSBC berkomitmen untuk mensupport investasi di Indonesia. Kami bangga bisa bekerja sama dengan MAMI sebagai yang pertama mendistribusikan reksa dana ini. Kolaborasi ini juga sejalan dengan misi kami, sebagai wealth management di Indonesia,” jelas Francois de Maricourt.
Chief Economist & Investment Strategist MAMI Katarina Setiawan mengungkapkan, masih banyak peluang yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh investor reksa dana. Investasi reksa dana MAGET diharapkan dapat mendorong investasi sekaligus menghijaukan bumi.
“Reksa dana MAGET ini cocoknya untuk investor yang memiliki profil risiko lebih agresif, dan bagi investor yang ingin menjaring peluang global dan ingin berinvestasi pada tema ESG bisa memanfaatkan peluang jangka panjang ini,” tegas Katarina.
Sebagai informasi, reksa dana MAGET Kelas A2 berinvestasi pada beragam perusahaan global di berbagai sektor yang memiliki komitmen kuat untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan melalui pengurangan jejak karbon.
Perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut juga berkomitmen untuk membantu pihak lain, baik pemerintah, dunia bisnis dan korporasi, rumah tangga, dan individu agar mereka juga bisa ikut berkontribusi mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan.
