Howard Stern says he wants to run for president and already has specific changes in mind that he’d like to bring about in the US. In the latest episode of the Sirius X Show, he expressed his interest in a presidential bid. So, let’s take a look at his net worth and fortune here.
Several celebrities have come forward to share their thoughts on the Supreme Court overturning the landmark Roe v Wade case.
Howard also commented on the ruling before presenting his plans for the country should he become the POTUS one day.
Howard Stern’s net worth revealed
Howard has an estimated net worth of $650 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
He rose to popularity through his radio program, which ran nationally from 1986 to 2005. But, it was his deal with Sirius Satellite Radio that contributed massively to his overall fortune. He is said to have inked a deal worth $500 million.
In December 2020, Howard’s contract was further extended by five more years, until the end of 2025.
And, his mind-blowing success outside radio justifies his title as the “King of All Media” for he has produced several late-night shows, pay-per-view events, and even home videos.
Howard has also penned three books – Private Parts, Miss America and Howard Stern Comes Again. The first two made it on The New York Times Best Seller list.
Howard was also one of the judges on America’s Got Talent from 2012 to 2015.
Radio host on running for President
Howard, if he ever becomes the president, hopes to abolish the Electoral College and add five more judges to the Supreme Court. He, however, noted that his sole purpose is to “make the country fair again.”
“I said to [co-host] Robin [Quivers], and I hate to say this, but, but I said to her: ‘I’m actually gonna probably have to run for president now,” he said.
The Radio host added: “I went into a long-winded speech over the weekend to Robin about how I am going to do the very simple thing that’ll set the country straight: One vote, one person, no more of this Electoral College.”
And, talking about bringing in more Supreme Court judges on board, he said: “I’m not afraid to do it. As soon as I become president, you’re gonna get five new Supreme Court justices that are going to overturn all this bulls***”
What is the Roe v Wade case?
Roe v. Wade was a landmark decision by the Supreme Court in 1973 that ruled the constitution of the US to protect the rights and liberty of pregnant women to have an abortion.
This was overturned by the court last week, which means that abortion rights will be rolled back in nearly half of the states in the country immediately, with more restrictions likely to follow.
