Javed Khan Amrohi was born on 24 March 1949 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He was 73 when he passed away. Talking about his educational qualification, he has done his basic qualification from a local school in Mumbai and after that, he has done his higher education at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Javed Khan did his graduation from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
Javed Khan Amrohi developed his interest in acting and after graduation, he made his film debut with Jalte Badan (1973) in a supporting role and went on to appear in several films such as Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Woh 7 Din, Tridev, and Aashiqui.
He has done more than 71 movies in his career like Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), and Chak De! India (2007) Chandu, Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985) as Manglu, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki (1992) as a police constable, Phir Hera Pheri (2006) as havaldar, and Dhoom Dadakka (2008).
He has appeared in the TV series Ghar Jamai (1997) as a hotel receptionist, Nukkad (1986) as Karim Hajam, Powder (2010) as lawyer Siddiqui, Vishnu Purana (2000) as sage Vishwamitra and Shaktimaan (1998) as a thief.
