After a night filled with ecstasy and dancing, Pam invites Tommy back to her apartment where the two undress in front of each other. Before removing his own underwear, Tommy asks, "Would you like to meet him?" An already undressed Pam answers affirmatively and, upon seeing the result, responds, "He's beautiful." Though it may come as a surprise to audiences, this short scene is only a minor segment of the total screen time dedicated to "him."
In the morning, Tommy stands in front of a bathroom mirror and professes his love for Pam, insisting "she's the one." The first few seconds of the scene could understandably lead some audience "members" to mistakenly believe that Tommy is speaking to someone on the phone or offscreen. However, after a few seconds, "Pam & Tommy" leaves no doubt where the familiar-sounding voice is coming from.
Tommy's "closest adviser" is vocally skeptical of the new relationship, suggesting that he instead set his sights on Jenny McCarthy or Denise Richards. Despite "his" repeated entreaties, Tommy quickly dismisses any other suggestions, earnestly proclaiming, "Pam and Tommy... Forever."
According to a Variety interview with scriptwriter Robert Siegel, this particular scene is based on a chapter of Tommy Lee's real-life autobiography "Tommyland."
